Process: There are no set colorations to choose from — our process is completely customized. To receive a quote with delivery options, please use Estimate Form and send via email or fax. Please note that we may call should additional information be needed to provide an estimate.
Normal production lead time is 3 – 6 weeks from receipt of approval and deposit. Please note these are only estimated times. Sample Mailers are individual samples of a requested finish, technique, pattern and/or design the colors of which will be randomly selected. Custom Strike-offs are created when a commission is approved and created samples are tailored to a specific project. Please note that we encourage the receipt of fabric, flooring samples, photographs and/or paint swatches to create the strike-off for your approval. One (1) Custom Strike-off is included in every order. Additional strike-offs will be charged separately should an alternate direction be desired. Should a Custom Strike-off be requested prior to ordering, a charge of $75 will be applied and be credited towards the order, should it go forward.
Sizing, Custom Cuts, Types & Widths: We can readily produce beautiful mirrors and glass up to 60” x 120” in any quantity required. Should you require a larger size, please contact us so that we can discuss the options.
Our cutters are able to make custom cuts (i.e., holes, shapes). A pattern and exact measurements will need to be provided. If installing fixtures over the mirrors on site, we recommend that your installers cut the mirrors at that time for a perfect fit.
Mirror Thickness: 1/8” and 1/4” available. Mirrors and Glass come unframed from our studio and there are several edge options.
We offer safety-backed mirrors. These are manufactured by applying a sheet of adhesive material to the back of annealed (non-tempered) mirrors. The backing material does not prevent breakage of mirrors but lessens the potential of injury on impact by retaining the fragments. All the work is done in our studio and all products used are made in the USA.
Terminology
Patina: The antiquing applied to the mirror.
Colors: Regular, Metallic or Metallic Leaf Colors Available Behind The Mirror
Finishes: Woodgrain, Gilding, Glazes, Crackle, etc…
Designs: Many Designs Available Such As Fish, Silhouettes, Damasks, Allover Patterns, etc…

Seamed Edge: Once cut, the edges of mirrors and glass are extremely sharp. A seamed edge is sanded and provides safe edges to handle. For safety, all mirrors and glass come with a standard seamed edge from our studio.
Pencil Edge: This provides a rounded edge with a matte finish.
Flat Polish Edge: This edging process takes a seamed edge and has an additional sanding layer which brings an elegant, perfect clarity to the edge. Recommended for mirrors or glass whose edges will be exposed.
Bevelled Edge: This is a technique where the mirror face is slightly angled, starting at 1/2”. A bevelled edge enhances the finish on a mirror and is used on both framed and unframed mirrors.
